Each casita comes fully with a fully eqipped kitchen for you to enjoy cooking on your own time, and in your own space. Eggs lovingly provided by our hens, homemade bread, butter and jam. A nice supply of Costa Rican coffee, tea, milk and sugar.
Enjoy cooking your own breakfast at your leisure in the privacy of any of our cozy casitas.

Hush Valley is an organic practice farm. We use earth-friendly products in each casita, including wildlife and river-friendly shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and dish soap. We also grow as much food as we are able, and always happy to share our fresh goodness with our guests.
You'll find organic lemons, sour orange, tangerine, passionfruit, blackberry, avocado, peach, apple and chilean mountain papaya growing seasonally.

Hiking Trails:
Hush Valley features several well marked hiking trails throughout the property. Enjoy mountain vistas, ancient fern forests, river swimming, and benches for meditative thought.
Birding:
There are hundreds of different species of birds living with us at Hush Valley. Enjoy the company and music of the Toucanette, the colored trogon, the great heron, the resplendant Quetzal, all frequently spotted on property. Bird watching tours in Copey can also be arranged.
Forest Bathing:
Enjoy what nature has to offer in complete serenity.

Hush Valley has an ancient fern forest, where the ferns grow far overhead, eclipsing the sun and creating a vibrant green canopy. This incredibly special place is located far from our lodging, providing the sense of complete privacy and aloneness with nature.

Important Information
Children Policy:
Due to the river, seven ponds, and steep cliffs, children over 10 only, please. 100% parental supervision is required. We take no responsibility for injuries.
Bees:
Like everywhere in Costa Rica, Hush Valley is loaded with flowers. You may encounter bees. For those who might be allergic, please make sure to bring your EpiPen.
